An overview of the various initiatives and projects approved in the last legislature of USI Academic Senate and implemented also thanks to the budget of the Student Corporation, which through the support of the concrete initiatives of students, aims at enriching university life on USI campuses.

Being a university student is an experience that accompanies the educational and human growth of those who are fortunate enough to live it, imprinting lasting memories. But what does it mean to be part of the University and live university life to the fullest? To answer this question, we would like to review all the projects promoted and supported by the Corporation which have been able to see the light and accompany the university experience of students:

  • Support of OSA (student association of the Academy of Architecture) activities for the Autumn Semester 2021;
  • Support for the organization of a theater workshop to Il Letterificio and AGORÀ - pastorale universitaria;
  • Extraordinary support for student associations;
  • Christmas Concert;
  • Support to Ratio for the organization of a conference;
  • Help for Quality Education for Poor Children in Afghanistan;
  • Support to Ratio for the conference "Cosa vogliamo sapere?" - " What do we want to know?";
  • Support to Ratio for the Seminar on Truthmaker Semantics;
  • Support of the student association USI Voices;
  • Support of the student association AIESEC for the creation of a cultural event and a workshop;
  • Support to Us International for the conference "Conflict in Ukraine: origins and future scenarios" with Vittorio Emanuele Parsi;
  • Support to Us international for the conference "Bionic People: testimonials on disability and the Paralympics success;
  • Support to Us International for the conference: "Inferno e ritorno" with Carlo Cottarelli;
  • Support to riOSA for realising the Workshop "self construction of a multifunctional space" and the creation of a "mobile sauna";
  • Support of OSA (student association of the Academy of Architecture) for the maintenance of the Photography lab;
  • Support to Ratio for the project Best Essay Price;
  • Support to Miluniti for the conference: La Svizzera e la cooperazione internationale.

A warm thanks to the students’ representatives for the current academic year for their commitment and valuable collaboration: Jonas Georg Domeisen and Flavia Zorrilla (Academy of Architecture), Martina Vera Schuppisser e Yael van der Geest (Faculty of Biomedicine), Diana Sofia Da Costa Santos e Letizia Ida Bianchi (Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society), Filippo Testa e Nicolò Maio (Faculty of Economics).

Being involved in university life is essential as it allows students to make their voices heard and pursue new projects.
