Body language and nonverbal communication - John Eccles Foundation Annual Symposium

The annual symposium of the John Eccles Foundation will be held on Saturday, 26 November 2022, from 9 am to 1 pm at Centro Monte Verità in Ascona. It will also be possible to follow the symposium through the Zoom platform.

Opening remarks will be given by Prof. Dr med. Claudio L. Bassetti, President of the John Eccles Foundation with introductory remarks by Prof. Dr. med Werner Strik (Member of the Board of the John Eccles Foundation).

Two sessions will follow with the following speakers:

  • Luca Cecchetti, Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca: Saper leggere ciò che provano e pensano gli altri: la Teoria della Mente.
  • Sebastian Walther, University Clinic of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University of Bern. The lecture will be given by Professor Strik in Italian: Hand gestures in psychiatric disorders. When communication becomes difficult.
  • Fabio Minazzi, University of Insubria, Department of Theoretical and Applied Sciences: L’umanesimo digitale e il problema epistemologico della percezione.
