Short description:

Are the virtual worlds we seem to experience in virtual reality real? Is our experience of these worlds veridical, or an illusion? Can we learn from virtual experiences? Is a life lived within a virtual world less valuable than one lived outside it? The Summer School Reality+ tackles these and other questions emerging from Augmented and Virtual Reality, showing how such emerging technologies impact debates in metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of perception and philosophy of mind.

During the summer school, there will be morning and afternoon sessions, social activities, as well as an experience in virtual reality.

Who can apply:

The Summer School is open to both graduate students and early career researchers.
