A "double degree" agreement has been signed between the Master's Degree in Italian Language, Literature and Civilisation of the Università della Svizzera italiana and the Master's Degree in Tradition and Interpretation of Literary Texts of the University of Verona.

Thanks to this agreement, starting from the upcoming academic year students of the Master's degree course (and, symmetrically, of the Verona degree course) will be able to obtain a Swiss and Italian double degree, which will also be helpful for the purposes of applying for public calls for tender.

"With this agreement, the Master programme in Italian language, literature and civilisation consolidates its international vocation, based on its strong roots in the Swiss and Ticino context," said Marco Maggi, director of the Master programme in Italian language, literature and civilisation. "USI students who take part in the Master will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by experiencing a programme that is in many ways complementary to the one offered at USI; for those who choose to do the entire course in Lugano, there will be opportunities to get to know and exchange ideas with students from an important Italian university. Nor should we forget the employment potential opened up by the double degree, especially in the public sector."

For information, please contact Prof. Marco Maggi, Director of the Master's Degree Course in Italian Language, Literature and Civilisation.
