This year's SwissMediaForum, the leading media and communication event in Switzerland, will take place on Thursday, 11 and Friday, 12 May 2023, at the KKL Luzern, promoted jointly with major private media companies and SRG SSR. This year's theme is digital change as an opportunity. Several guests will be speaking, including Luca Maria Gambardella, Pro-rector for Innovation and Corporate Relations at USI, professor of artificial intelligence at the Faculty of Informatics and member of IDSIA, the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence USI-SUPSI.

SwissMediaForum is an annual two-day conference of the Swiss media industry. It traditionally takes place at the KKL in Lucerne, where prominent figures from the world of media, communications, business and politics discuss challenges and innovations.

As an expert on artificial intelligence, Prof Gambardella will explore the topic "ChatGPT and AI research from Ticino" as part of the panel "Innovations from the media and communication sector".

Various speakers will take part in the forum, including Karin Keller Sutter, Federal Councillor, Sergio Ermotti, CEO of UBS, Roberto Cirillo, CEO of Swiss Post

The Forum was founded by journalists and is now supported by the four leading private media companies CH Media, NZZ, Ringier and TX Group, as well as the public SRG SSR, and can also count on the support of the Swiss Association of Media Publishers (VSM), where the smallest media companies are also represented.
