Blood Donation Days: the figures

During the blood donation days on 9 and 10 May, 87 donors participated in the USI-SUPSI event, which was organised in partnership with the Red Cross Transfusion Service of Southern Switzerland.
At the East Campus Lugano stations, 112 individuals showed up, with 87 of them able to donate blood. Among the donors, 26 were first-timers.
The donation campaign was successful and saved lives through this simple act of solidarity.
The blood transfusion service of Southern Switzerland extends its sincere gratitude to all the donors at the Università della Svizzera italiana.
