Success for the second edition of USI Meets Industry

The second edition of USI Meets Industry was held on 19 October at USI's East Campus, with the participation of more than 100 academics and corporate professionals.
During the event, Rector Luisa Lambertini and Prof. Luca Maria Gambardella, Pro-rector for Innovation and Corporate Relations, greeted the companies and academic community. They highlighted USI's role and dedication as an academic partner of excellence, as well as its involvement in knowledge and technology transfer.
During the event, attendees were able to participate in Speed Meetings, which involved one-to-one meetings aimed at sharing updates on the latest research trends, business needs, ideas, and proposals for collaboration. Additionally, attendees were also able to attend the USI Transfer and USI Startup Centre forums, which provided valuable insight into technology transfer activities and initiatives that promote collaboration between startups and established companies.
"USI Meets Industry is the ideal opportunity to network. It offers an initial moment of discussion and exchange of ideas with companies that can give rise to a collaborative project," commented Prof. Luca Maria Gambardella.
Also, a guest of the evening was an important Italian luxury brand, which told how a large company faces the challenges of the future.
