A journey through science: from Perceptual Illusions to AI and Robotics.
Speakers:
Francesco Cacciante, Ph.D. SIENA imaging, will speak about neuroscience and question our perception of reality, asking questions about our sensory capabilities.
Alessandro Giusti, Professor of Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Robotics at the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence, will explore the world of autonomous robots, showing how to visualise what a robot 'thinks' through examples from research in the field of autonomous robotics.
Antonella Autuori, Ginevra Terenghi and Matteo Subet, experts in design and Artificial Intelligence at the Design Institute and the Master in Interaction Design SUPSI, will raise the question of whether the figure of the designer will survive with the advancement of Artificial Intelligence. They will present a practical demonstration on the integration of generative AI in design and discuss the potential and challenges of this evolution.
This year's Festival in Ticino will be held on 15 May at Bar Oops in Lugano, 6.30 pm.
The event will be held in Italian.
