USI joins the Focus Sustainability project

As part of its commitment to creating a society and an economy capable of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the opportunities facing future generations, Università della Svizzera italiana is taking another important step towards a more sustainable world. USI has signed up to the Focus Sustainability project, a benchmark initiative in this field.
Focus Sustainability is the national centre dedicated to developing student initiatives and engagement in sustainability throughout Switzerland. Thanks to the collaboration with Focus Sustainability, USI students (bachelor, master and PhD) will be able to take part free of charge in the workshops organised during the autumn semester, as well as in the START programme. It supports, through workshops and personal coaching, those who wish to launch a sustainability project.
The offer is open to the entire USI student community, and for the START programme kick-off workshop (2 October in Bern) the return train ticket is reimbursed by Focus Sustainability. More information on the programme can be found on the official website, or by downloading the attached PDF.
