Presentation of the Founders' Track: support for student start-ups

The Founders' Track, created to offer support to student start-ups, will be presented on Wednesday, 9 October at 7:15 pm in Room D1.15 on the USI-SUPSI East Campus Lugano. The encounter will feature Professor Peter Gruber, lecturer-researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Director of the Founders' Track, and Nicola Scarinzi, co-founder of DEC Energy, who will share his personal experience of being a student founder at USI.
During the event, Professor Peter Gruber will give an overview of the Founders' Track regulations and the goal-based credit system. The programme is intended for students in the Master‘s in Financial Technology and Computing and the Master's programme in Management and Informatics who wish to launch their own startup during their studies. In addition to receiving academic mentoring and training on launching a start-up, students can obtain up to 30 ECTS in recognition of the practical experience gained in working on their own start-up. Nicola Scarinzi, co-founder of DEC Energy, will share his personal experience as a student founder at USI.
A small networking aperitif will be served at the end of the presentation.
