Scholarship opportunities and summer courses at St. Andrews University

St Andrews University offers a scholarship programme with prestigious awards to enable talented scholars worldwide to spend up to a month at Scotland's oldest university. Applications are due by 3 March 2025.

Winners of the prestigious scholarship will have the opportunity to travel in person to St. Andrews University and engage virtually with the university's academic community during the 2025/26 academic year. Fellows will embark on a journey of research and study, explore potential collaborations, strengthen existing relationships, advance their research projects, and find a stimulating environment for reflection and thought.

To be eligible to apply, you must be recognized as an emerging leader or outstanding scholar in your field through your original contributions to research. Applicants must hold a permanent academic position, possess a PhD, and be employed by a university or research institute outside the UK.

Fellows will receive a salary, along with room and board, during their stay. Additionally, round-trip airfare and airport transfers to and from the University of St Andrews will be provided.
