Appointment of the new Director of Operations ad interim

Università della Svizzera italiana announces the appointment of Milan Savic, Deputy Director of Operations and former co-responsible for USI Finance and Controlling Department, as Director of Operations ad interim. The decision was made by the University Council and took effect on 1 March 2025.

Mr Savic will assume all responsibilities and signatory rights associated with the Director of Operations until the official appointment of the new Director of Operations, which is currently underway. This final appointment is anticipated to occur in May or June 2025. Once the selection process is complete and the new Director of Operations has started their role, Mr. Savic will revert to his position as Deputy Director of Operations.

The Rectorate expresses its gratitude to Milan Savic for his willingness to assist during this transition phase and grants him full support as he takes on his new responsibilities.
