Take part in FameLab Switzerland: the contest for young talents in science communication

Are you a young researcher or student passionate about science and eager to communicate it effectively? FameLab Switzerland offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills. Università della Svizzera italiana will host one of the FameLab selection events on 16 April, 2025. Registration is now open!

FameLab is an international competition focused on scientific communication. In this event, participants only have three minutes to present a scientific concept using their voice, charisma, and creativity. No slides or digital media are allowed; the emphasis is on captivating the audience and providing a clear and engaging explanation.

Participating means improving your public speaking skills and getting in touch with other science and popular science enthusiasts. The best will be able to represent Switzerland at the international FameLab final, a unique stage for those who dream of making science a great story to tell.

The winners will be able to participate in the national final on 24 September 2025 in Bern.
