EMBA12 Graduation Ceremony at USI

Lugano, March 15, 2025 – Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), hosted the graduation ceremony for the twelfth edition of the Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) in the Aula Magna. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduates, who celebrated their academic achievements alongside family, friends, faculty, and the USI community.

The ceremony commenced with an inspiring speech from EMBA Director, Professor Paulo Gonçalves. His addresses underscored the importance of lifelong learning.
A highlight of the event was the keynote speeches delivered by two distinguished USI EMBA Alumni who have since ascended to leadership roles in major corporations.
Nicola Roberto Tettamanti, CEO of Tecnopinz SA and President of Swissmechanic, shared his insights into the evolving manufacturing industry. He emphasized the vital role of technological innovation and strategic resource management in maintaining a competitive edge in global markets.
Swissmechanic, the premier employer association for SMEs in the mechanical and electromechanical industries, represents over 1,250 companies and employs more than 65,000 professionals, solidifying its significance in the Swiss industrial landscape.

Following this, Angelo Facchinetti, CEO of Ou(R)group S.r.l., recounted his extensive career in finance, private equity, and alternative investments. With over three decades of executive experience at prominent financial institutions and investment funds, including Mittel Group and HOPA S.p.A., Facchinetti illustrated the critical importance of strategic transformation and resource optimization in fostering corporate growth.

During the ceremony, the participants of the twelfth EMBA edition officially received their diplomas, recognizing their dedication and commitment.

The celebration concluded with a networking aperitif, offering attendees the opportunity to strengthen professional connections and honor the graduates’ accomplishments.

As USI’s Executive Master in Business Administration continues to grow and evolve, the next edition of the program is set to commence in November 2025.
