USI Academic Senate themes

The deadline for submitting your candidature for the election of representatives to the USI Academic Senate expires on Saturday, 10 May 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Nominations must be submitted via www.senato.usi.ch, which can be accessed with your eduID.

The elections will take place digitally from 13 to 27 May 2025, also through the site.

The fourth legislature of the Senate, established in December 2016 by the University Council with the aim of strengthening cohesion within the University, will come to the end of its two-year term on 31 August 2025, archiving a two-year period of intense work during which the senators have addressed numerous issues of strategic interest for the life of USI.

Below is a list of the main issues addressed, to which are added all the appointments, promotions and contract renewals of the academic body:
