The Faculty of Informatics welcomes students from Liceo Mendrisio

On Tuesday, 8 April 2025, two female and nine male students from the third year at Liceo di Mendrisio were guests of Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) for a day. This visit was part of an in-depth study day organised by the high school for students enrolled in elective informatics classes.
During the day, the students were guided by Prof. Antonio Carzaniga, Full Professor at USI Faculty of Informatics, and Pasquale Polverino, PhD Assistant at USI Faculty of Informatics, who introduced the young people to the topic of computer security.
The event on 8 April is just the latest of many in which USI has opened its doors to students from the Mendrisio High School, who had already been guests at our university in November last year.
