Ignazio Cassis' message to students at the Macroeconomics Forum 2025

During the Macroeconomics Forum 2025, Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis addressed a short video greeting to USI students.

During his address, the Federal Councillor referred to the current political situation, drawing the students' attention to the importance of democracy and the necessary pillars on which it rests.

The students also played a central role in the Forum 2025; prizes were awarded for the best economic development ideas applied to Ticino.

For the Bachelor's degree, the award went to Vito Armenti for his proposal titled "Experiential training and student counselling: a sustainable economic development idea applied to the canton of Ticino".

At the Master's level, awards went to Laura Giribaldi and Davide Ghielmetti for their proposal titled "All you need is love startups".
