The valleys' economy is fragile. Once upon a time, there was Monteforno. Nowadays, it is tourism and teleworking that dominate. The conversation, which will delve into the past and possible future scenarios, will be led by Sara Rossi Guidicelli, journalist, editor of Rivista3valli and author of Quaderno della Monteforno. The discussion will also feature Gianluca Giuliani, co-founder of the agricultural and regional economics consultancy Flury & Giuliani, as well as a consultant for the Leventina and Blenio Masterplans. Also joining the discussion will be Luigi Lorenzetti, a professor at USI and the director of the Laboratory of Alpine History (LabiSAlp), who is also the author of numerous books on alpine economic and demographic history.
