Success for the 4th PhD Summer School on Finance and Product Markets held in Lugano

Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) jointly hosted the 4th PhD Summer School on Finance and Product Markets in Lugano from 30 June to 4 July. The programme was co-organised by Prof. Laurent Frésard (USI & SFI) and Prof. Gordon Phillips (Dartmouth College).

The intensive one-week event brought together PhD students and faculty members from leading universities across Europe, North America, and Asia to explore cutting-edge research at the intersection of finance and product markets.

The agenda featured theoretical and empirical lectures, mini-seminars where students presented their research papers, networking activities, and a practical workshop on Python-based text analysis facilitated by Yuhan Ye, a PhD student at the USI Institute of Finance (IFin).
