"Set the stage": a piano to spark creativity on campus

From 18 August until the end of September, USI's West Campus Lugano is hosting "Set the Stage," a new initiative designed to enrich daily life at Università della Svizzera italiana. This open invitation encourages the entire community to express themselves through music. For the occasion, USI is providing a piano, freely accessible outside the main building under the mensa.

Anyone is welcome to play – whether part of the USI community or simply visiting the Campus – every day from 7:30 am to 9 pm.

"Set the Stage" aims to foster well-being through music, offering a vibrant space for creativity and individual expression. It encourages everyone to contribute their unique style, cultivating a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Beyond that, it is an opportunity to forge new connections, discover hidden talents, and strengthen USI's identity as an open, welcoming place where all feel free to express themselves.

More than just an instrument, the piano becomes a dynamic meeting point, a chance for shared moments, and a daily stage where new inspirations can begin.
