Susan Neiman will open the Endorfine Festival 2025 on Friday, 19 September at 9 pm at Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano. The American philosopher will deliver a lecture titled "Why did Trump win?" which will explore the origins of this significant turning point that has shaped our times.

The Ticino universities USI, SUPSI and Franklin University Switzerland are supporting the initiative as part of Lugano University City, with their support linked in particular to this inaugural event.

The Festival, taking place from 19 to 21 September, features a diverse lineup of "accessible talks." These sessions consist of hour-and-a-half-long discussions between a speaker and a journalist, followed by a question-and-answer segment with the audience. Open to the general public, Endorfine aims to encourage conversations about current issues and cultural topics in a language that is easy to understand.
