The Call for Speakers for AI Week Lugano 2025 is now open. The event will take place from 1 to 5 December 2025. The application deadline is 31 August 2025, with notifications of acceptance expected by 23 September 2025.

Following the success of the first edition, the City of Lugano has confirmed that AI Week, a week entirely dedicated to the topic of artificial intelligence, will return in 2025. The event, organised as part of Lugano Living Lab, will take place from 1 to 5 December and will offer the public a rich programme of free activities: conferences, workshops, round tables and networking opportunities to explore the present and future of AI in various fields of application.

In view of the new edition, the Call for Speakers has been officially opened, aimed at professionals, researchers and operators in the sector who wish to contribute with a presentation. Contributions can be submitted through the application form, and they will be assessed by the organising committee based on their quality, relevance, and alignment with the overall programme.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 31 August 2025. The organisers will then select the content and notify applicants of their acceptance by 23 September 2025. This timeline will allow selected participants to prepare their presentations for the week in December carefully.

AI Week Lugano serves as a platform for open discussion and encounters, welcoming both professionals and the general public. The event aims to foster a broad dialogue about the role of artificial intelligence in contemporary society. Topics will include technological innovation and applications in healthcare, economics, culture, and education, providing a comprehensive overview and encouraging collaborative reflection.

With its Call for Speakers, the City of Lugano invites you to actively contribute to the development of the AI Week 2025 programme by sharing experiences, projects and ideas that can enrich a debate of growing importance at the local and international level.
