Celebrating 20 years of collaboration between SFI and USI

For 20 years, the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) and Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) have nurtured a partnership that combines academic excellence and financial practice. The continuous support of the Ticino Banking Association (ABT) has made this collaboration possible, strengthening research, education, and dialogue with the financial marketplace.

The anniversary event brings together representatives of the SFI and USI, alongside key players from the Ticino banking sector, to celebrate twenty years of joint work and to look ahead to the future of the banking and financial sector in Switzerland.

We are delighted to welcome Antonio Foglia, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Banca del Ceresio, as the event's keynote speaker.

The event will open with a panel featuring Prof. Gabriele Balbi, Full Professor of Media Studies, Interim Rector and Pro-Rector for Education and Students' Experience, USI; Prof. François Degeorge, Managing Director, SFI and Professor of Finance, USI; Alberto Petruzzella, President of the Ticino Banking Association (ABT); and Luca Soncini, Member of the Foundation Board, SFI.
