The asset management industry has been undergoing significant changes for a number of years, not only in terms of the regulatory and fiscal framework, but also in terms of how asset management professionals relate to clients and of the increased sophistication of financial products and instruments. In addition, the latest developments in information tecnology will lead to new operating models of interaction with the clients. Today's financial advisers are therefor called upon to go beyond the mere managing of financial assets, and to consider also real estate, legal and tax issues, in accordance with the new trends emerging in the area of behavioral finance as well.

To address these needs, the Centro Studi Bancari (Banking Research Center, CSB), in collaboration with the Institute of Finance of the USI Faculty of Economics, will offer a new executive training program for wealth management professionals starting from the fall semester 2017. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Private Banking and Wealth Management is an academic training program aimed primarily at private banking and asset managers active in banks, asset management companies and family offices. At the end of the program, participants receive a university certificate acknowledged by the Swiss financial sector.
