The Long Night of Careers reaches its third edition. The event is organised simultaneously in 14 academic institutions all over Switzerland with the aim of getting students to think about their professional career in a new, direct and informal way.
The event organised by the USI Career Service takes place on November 16, at the Lugano campus. In addition to the traditional moments of interaction between students and field experts, this year the Long Night of Careers presents a series of round tables in which students can take part to learn about the dynamics of the world of work, thanks to the open discussions between professors and experts in the respective fields of competence. This new feature of the event represents a unique opportunity to gain insights on labour markets from the perspective of companies and institutions, such as Swiss National Bank, Deloitte, LAC, IKEA, Swisscom, DOS Group, Thema Consulting, and many more.
Furthermore, students can register for a number of sessions organised by participating companies, on a wide range of topics such as how to improve and fine-tune a resume on LinkedIn, how to go about creating a Start-up, how to set up an effective work presentation, or how to hone and manage your motivation to study and work.
