“Elective affinities. India 1947-2017: Cinema and Other Languages of the Arts", the exclusive film festival curated by USI professor Marco Müller, continues at LAC Lugano with its rich program until Sunday, December 17.

The festival, presented by the Cinergia Association, takes place in Hall 4 of the LAC and is part of the interdisciplinary project Focus India. The project covers seventy years of the country's history, delving into the numerous and changing aspects of an audio-visual continent largely unexplored in the West, through programs on visual arts, architecture, music, theatre and dance.

USI students can obtain reduced price on both the "single program" tickets (CHF 5 instead of CHF 8) and for the entire event passes (CHF 30 instead of CHF 50). Special free admittance is granted to all USI students for the film Pakeezah on Sunday, December 3, at 08:30PM and on Tuesday, December 5, at 9PM. Remember to show your student card at the counter.
