USI will donate to each freshman starting their university career today, a copy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of this ever so important document. An exhibition featuring posters of artists on the subject will be showing on the facade of the informatics building (Lugano campus).

2018 marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Born out of World War II, this landmark text is just as powerfully relevant today as it was in 1948. As part of the anniversary campaign launched by the United Nations Human Rights Office, a series of posters by renowned international graphic designers illustrate the call to action STAND UP FOR HUMAN RIGHTS.
