1000 enthusiastic and committed students took part in the evening, together with 150 experts (among which 30 USI graduates), 53 companies, 48 student angels, 15 professors, and 5 student associations. The photo album is now online to relive some of the highlights of the evening.
The fourth Long Night of Careers was held at USI on November 22, from 6 pm to 10 pm simultaneously with other 12 institutions: ETH Zürich, FHS St. Gallen, Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, Hochschule Luzern, HTW Chur, SUPSI, Universität Basel, Universität St. Gallen, Universität Zürich, Université de Genève, Université de Neuchâtel, ZHAW.
Since USI is concerned about both its students’ career and their skills to face current challenges responsibly, the opening event this year was dedicated to sustainability. After the opening event, students and graduates took advantage of the diverse and interactive programme dedicated to careers. One to one meetings with experts from various roles and fields were offered, together with CV revisions by corporate HR teams, and several seminars to understand how to prep for a video-interview, prepare an effective online/offline CV, launch a start-up, pursue a career in a family firm, or understand the new opportunities in digital fashion, finance, and technology.
The event organised by the Career Service in collaboration with employers, experts, graduates, and professors, has been a success and it will be held again on November 14, 2019.
