Introduction to R for Statistical Analysis

This module aims to introduce the basic features of R, a programming language used a lot in both professional and academic contexts and exploring the importance of data and the role of R in statistical analysis. We will start by examining different types of variables, then we will learn how to create data by using numbers, vectors and matrices. Next we will create data frames and apply some basic statistical functions. Finally we will learn how to import data in R by using different methods and how to work with datasets, a fundamental aspect of statistical analysis. The course will be held in English.
