Elaborate photos with Lightroom

Lightroom is a program for processing photos and images. It is probably the most widely used among designers and photographers, given its level of professionality and ease of use. It is possible to modify an image in such a way to give it the desired touch and impact.

This course requires a laptop with Adobe Lightroom installed. There is free demo version and there are discounted student plans. We are happy to help with the installation upon request.

In my studies at USI I have learnt a great deal about R and I have obtained great results in real-world applications. I have been using R for my personal projects and I an offering this module because I enjoy passing on my knowledge. I do quite often private tutoring with R and I have been assistant to Peter Gruber for Informatica II here at USI.

Both of us have been photographing at a semi-professional level for quite some time. We have some work experience in the field, e.g. at festivities or events. Both of us use Lightroom to develop our photos in a professional way. Our different styles will make it possible to show the wide potential of Lightroom from two different viewpoints.
