Accounting 101
Accounting is a crucial tool for organization and decision making. Be it to manage personal finances, to be a treasurer for a student association, or to simply plan expenses for a group holiday, basic accounting practices can help you manage your money effectively. In this course I will share some tips and tricks I have learned as a self-financed part-time student and part-time worker. The main section on the course will focus on the GUI-based accounting software MoneyManager Ex. An optional extra module on hledger will be offered for students interested in a terminal-based alternative.
