USI Square Magazine
Ideas, facts and perspectives from the academic world of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland
Square is the quarterly magazine of USI. The publication – in Italian language – provides comprehensive information on the many activities of USI in the fields of research, education, culture, and knowledge transfer.
Square as an international “square” where professors, researchers, graduates and businesses convene. Square as in “squared”, a function that implies the multiplication of knowledge and skills in a service dynamic from the academic world towards its own surrounding territory.
Square is issued in 19.000 copies each year and is addressed to the media, the general public, and the USI community. It is sent by subscription to companies, institutions, banks, elected officials, opinion leaders, journalists, research and cultural centres – in Ticino, in Switzerland and in Europe.
Note: the last issue of Square is n.20 (May 2016). A new publication, with new graphic design and editorial style, is expected in the near future.
