USI Scholarships Fund
Our students, your University.
Our students are the most valuable asset we have. We are responsible for providing them with the best possible education for their future, and we are committed to supporting them on their journey. The USI Scholarships Fund is an initiative to raise funds for scholarships for Bachelor's and Master's students, to which we can all contribute.
In the four USI campuses in Lugano, Mendrisio and Bellinzona, 3'350 female students from more than 90 put themselves in the game every day. For all of them, USI aims to be a crossroads of opportunities open to the world, where they can find their way to their future.
Scholarships are an increasingly vital tool to allow as many students as possible to receive support in this path of growth.
How we use the donations
The donations collected through the Scholarships Fund are paid out entirely to USI Bachelor's and Master's degree students in scholarships consisting of a 50% reduction in the semester fee.
Transparency and confidentiality
The collection of donations is managed by ensuring transparency for all those who have had and will have the generosity to contribute. Contributions may be accompanied by request to remain anonymous.
All contributions to this fund are considered donations in favour of public utility organisations, therefore tax-deductible under art. 32c of the cantonal Tax Law.
