Best Cardiovascular Research Paper Award to Dr. Lucio Barile and Prof. Giuseppe Vassalli

The official journal of the European Society of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Research, has conferred the Best Cardiovascular Research Paper Award to Dr. Lucio Barile and Prof. Giuseppe Vassalli for the best fundamental research work published in the journal in 2018. Dr. Lucio Barile and Prof. Giuseppe Vassalli are active at the Cardiocentro Ticino (CCT), and both are also lecturers at the USI Faculty of Biomedical Sciences.
The award was accepted by Dr. Barile on Sunday, September 1, in Paris, during the annual congress of the European Society of Cardiology.
