Turn on your PC still in your pyjamas to follow a class, spend the coffee break on the sofa, maybe chatting with other students, choosing between your living room or your room. As we know, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed our habits, and with classes closed since 2 November, the courses in distance learning and teleworking the situation is not easy for anyone. It is still essential, however, not to lose the knack for smiling even in this challenging situation, which is why the USIeLearning competition is back. You can tell us about your distance learning and teaching experiences by merely sharing amusing photos and videos with the USI community through the hashtag #USIeLearning.

USI is looking forward to welcoming you back on campus as soon as restrictions allow. In the meantime, only you can show us how your semester is progressing, and the way university classes have entered your homes. Like last semester, to stay close even if far away, USI invites students, academics and staff to share fun photos and videos about the learning and teaching experience in eLearning mode. Images posted on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and tagged with the hashtag #USIeLearning will be featured on USI channels. We also invite you to mention/tag the official USI channel on the reference social media:

  • FB @usiuniversity
  • TW @USI_university / @USI_en
  • Instagram @usiuniversity
  • LinkedIn @USI Università della Svizzera italiana

You have time until 15 December: the best ten posts will be selected, and those who have published them will receive USI merchandise, by mail, at home. The number of likes will be taken into consideration, but not only. The jury is composed of the Pro-Rector for Education and Students' experience, a member of the Institutional Communication Service and a member of the eLab. The selection of the best posts will be held on Thursday, 17 December.

Students enrolled at USI and members of the academic community, including staff, can participate in this initiative - which aims to keep the USI community together at this delicate time.
