The Swiss Blockchain Hackathon lands at the USI-SUPSI East Campus in Lugano. The event will take place for the first time in Ticino as part of the NTN Innovation Booster Blockchain Nation Switzerland, a national network promoted by Innosuisse.

Registration is now open for the first edition of #SBHack21, the national hackathon that in Ticino is proposed by USI, the Department of Innovative Technologies of SUPSI, Lugano Living Lab and Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association in collaboration with TRUST SQUARE, with the aim of developing new real challenges designed specifically for the local chapter of the event.

The Swiss Blockchain Hackathon #SBHack21 will take place simultaneously at the USI-SUPSI East Campus in Lugano, at the Ambassador House in Zurich and at the University of Geneva.

Starting from October 15, participants will already have the opportunity to work on the various online challenges; from October 29 to 31, the hackathon will also continue in presence at the USI-SUPSI East Campus.

Participants will try their hand at the challenges proposed at local, national and international level in order to find solutions to improve the digital services offered to citizens through Blockchain technology.

At the end of the Hackathon, the winning projects in the respective categories will be decided by local and national juries, with prizes worth over CHF 350,000.
