For Holocaust Remembrance Day, we repropose the talk by Liliana Segre, Holocaust survivor guest at USI, in December 2018. On this occasion, the life senator recounted her story: the removal from school because of racial laws, the attempt to escape to Switzerland, the arrest and detention in the prisons of Como and Milan, the imprisonment in Auschwitz.
During the encounter in Lugano, organised by the Goren Monti Ferrari Foundation, Liliana Segre encouraged the young people not to be indifferent to history, urging them to choose life even in the face of difficulties that seem insurmountable.
