BiblioWeekend is a new initiative of Bibliosuisse that during the weekend of 25-27 March 2022 will remain open with extended hours and will host events of various kinds. The leitmotif of the event is "Volere la luna" (Reaching for the moon), inspired by which the University libraries have launched a contest addressed to the academic community of USI.

Freely inspired by the theme of the BiblioWeekend - Reaching for the Moon - participants may enter the contest by sending a short essay, a photograph, a film or a music tune. A jury will select the proposals and award the best ones, which will be presented by the authors themselves in front of an audience during the ceremony to be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 in the BiblioAgorà at the East Campus Lugano.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, 14 March 2022, 8 am, at the email address[email protected]

See attached for the complete Rules (in Italian) of the contest.
