Strengthening students' career opportunities and better combining university education with professional needs. It is the goal of the first Career Board promoted by Università della Svizzera italiana's Master in Finance and USI Career Service.
The new Career Board of the Master's in Finance program launches this semester, already involving some 15 professionals active in the Ticino finance world. The Career Board aims to create new opportunities for synergy and interaction between the world of work and the university and to bring together expectations from the world of finance with the talents offered by the university.
Partner companies make internships and field projects available to students and discuss with the Master's management what skills and soft skills are in demand in the world of finance today and in the future, with the common goal of promoting the careers of USI's Master in Finance students.
This collaboration further demonstrates the Master in Finance's link with the region's leading financial institutions. It represents a unique opportunity for students to enhance their job search and career goal setting, but also for institutions looking for talent increasingly in line with the challenges of the financial market.
