Speakers:

Benedetto Biondi is the co-founder and CEO of Folks Finance, a leading DeFi project on Algorand. Benedetto has accrued 3 years of experience as a Blockchain Project Manager. He is a mentor and advisor in several blockchain projects and a lecturer for DeFi at the University of Florence. Benedetto has deep experience in Web3 and has navigated the DeFi space for half a decade.

Andrej Majcen is Chief Clients Officer of Bitcoinsuisse, which he co-founded in autumn 2013 and helped scaling from 3 to over 300 employees ever since. He is responsible for all client and sales activities at Bitcoin Suisse. Andrej Majcen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Gallen.

Bear Matthews is the co-founder and COO of Vylto — a venture-funded startup building Web3 fan infrastructure. Over the past five years, he has developed products for over a million users that amplify voices, increase efficiency and promote equality.

 

Moderator:

Peter Gruber is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at USI. He has a dual background in Economics and Engineering. Peter’s research interests include asset pricing, blockchain economics, data science with non‐traditional data sets, and data visualization. He has advised several student startups.
