24 April 2023

The drone industry is an emerging sector with constant and sudden evolutions. Technological developments allow drones to be used in different areas, improving transportation options and services such as inspections, security, and emergency. This implies that regulations must also be adapted to the context, for the safe and responsible use of these systems.

The event aims to present the latest innovations from the industrial, academic, and regulatory perspectives with input from companies, Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA USI-SUPSI), and the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). In particular, you have the opportunity to learn about the innovative activities carried out by companies active at the Lodrino Drone Competence Center (SDBC), some research projects carried out by IDSIA, and the European regulations adopted by Switzerland as of January 1, 2023, presented by the FOCA, with the opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

The event will be held in English. Register for free here.
