Polls open for the election of USI Academic Senate members

As of 9 May 2023, it is possible to cast your vote to choose the representatives of the USI Academic Senate. The elections take place digitally at www.senato.usi.ch and are open until 23 May. The aim is to select the new representatives of this central body of the academic fabric, which aims to strengthen the cohesion within the University. Your voice is important to make a difference.
The Senate comprises all components of the university, through 10 faculty representatives, 5 representatives of the intermediate academic body, 5 students representatives, 5 staff representatives.
The elections will take place digitally via the website www.senato.usi.ch, which can be accessed with eduID.
In USI's development plans, the role of the Academic Senate will grow considerably in importance, becoming an increasingly influential and central body thanks to various mandates that will be conferred on it by the University Council.
