IBSA Foundation for scientific research, with the aim of promoting and allowing young and talented researchers to do great science, IBSA Foundation for scientific research offers 6 fellowships of € 32,000 in the following research fields: dermatology, endocrinology, fertility/urology, orthopaedics/rheumatology/pain medicine and Healthy Aging/Regenerative medicine.
Eligibility
- Open to applicants of any nationality under 40 years old by the proposal submission deadline.
- Required degree in medicine, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, or bioengineering.
- Open to PhD students, PhD holders, Post-Docs, and residents.
- Permanent positions (e.g., Professors) cannot apply.
- Applicants must be active in a Host Institution (research organization) for the duration of the grant.
funding and duration
Funding and duration
€32,000 (before taxes) covers salary and mobility costs for 12 months. The fellowship can be added to other awards for salary increase.
No coverage for bench fees, overheads, or consumables. Projects must start by 2025, and the fellowship cannot be postponed.
Timeline of the call
- Application Deadline: 31st of January
- Evaluation Period: February to March (approximately 2 months after the deadline)
- Award Notification: By the end of March 2025 (within 2 months of submission deadline)
- Award Ceremony: Spring 2025 (exact date to be confirmed)
- Project Start Date: Must start by 2025
- Final Payment of Grant: By the end of 2025
