Costa Rican Ambassador Mrs Ana Gabriela Massey Machado visits USI

On Thursday, 4 September, Università della Svizzera italiana had the honour of welcoming Her Excellency Mrs Ana Gabriela Massey Machado, Costa Rican Ambassador to Switzerland, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant at the same embassy, Mrs Arianna Scuncio.

The visit served as an opportunity for Rector Prof. Luisa Lambertini and Dr Arianna Imberti, head of the International Relations and Study Abroad Service, to present USI. They highlighted the university's history, characteristics, and strengths while also gaining insights into the Costa Rican university system. This exchange aimed to foster the sharing of experiences and perspectives.

The encounter took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, underscoring the importance of relationships between academic and diplomatic institutions. USI is grateful for this visit, which signifies a mutual interest, and looks forward to developing new connections with Costa Rica in the future, particularly in areas such as student exchanges and academic collaborations.
