From control to vision: the role of the Board of Directors in the age of AI. Collaboration between USI and Board Foundation (BF) gets underway

The Board Foundation (BF) is a Swiss non-profit foundation that aims to promote excellence in corporate governance through the activities of its three units: the Swiss Board School (SBS), the Swiss Institute of Directors (SIoD) and the International Centre for Corporate Governance (ICCG).

Università della Svizzera italiana and the Board Foundation have recently signed a collaboration agreement. This partnership allows the university to host a series of continuing education courses designed for chairpersons, members, and secretaries of boards of directors in Switzerland. The Board Foundation will manage these courses, while USI will provide some of the speakers for the events.

The first course resulting from this collaboration will be held on 6 November 2025 from 9 am to 5:30 pm at the East Campus Lugano and will focus on the following topic: "From control to vision: the role of the board of directors in the age of AI".
