The Peter Bopp Stiftung, founded in 2023, aims to strengthen Switzerland’s future viability by supporting innovation in research and technology at Swiss universities.
This second call for proposals, titled “Future Technologies – New sustainable materials and processes to tackle societal challenges”.
Eligibility

Be researchers based at Swiss universities, conducting applied research in the field of new sustainable materials and processes.

Be engaged in work positioned between research and market development, specifically within Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4–6 (pilot and demonstrator phase).

The program particularly encourages entrepreneurial young scientists who can demonstrate leadership in applied innovation and intend to carry out a 1–2 year project with a budget between CHF 100,000 and CHF 300,000.

Timeline of the call
| Project Proposal | Full proposal submission following a positive pre-assessment. Must follow the foundation’s call timeline and application guidelines. | Deadline: February 15, 2026 |
