Info session on ERC Individual Grants: career opportunities
Research Service
Date: 17 December 2025 / 10:30 - 12:30
Campus Ovest - Executive center (Blue room)
The USI Research Service invites you to an inspiring info session on ERC Individual Grants, a unique opportunity to learn how to turn bold ideas into funded research.
The European Research Council (ERC) supports groundbreaking, investigator-driven projects across all disciplines, empowering excellent researchers to pursue ambitious ideas with substantial, long-term funding.
Dr. Daniele Mammoli, Project Adviser at the ERC Executive Agency, will present the main features of ERC Individual Grants (Starting, Consolidator, and Advanced). You’ll gain valuable insights into the application and evaluation process, and receive practical advice on how to identify a strong research idea and write a successful proposal.
This session is especially valuable for early-career and mid-career researchers eager to apply for ERC funding, conduct frontier research in Europe, and boost their scientific careers.
