This webinar is designed to support researchers in Switzerland who are preparing or considering an application for the current Leading House MENA call. It will provide essential technical and contextual information about the funding scheme, while also offering practical insights into conducting research in fragile and crisis-affected environments. Through contributions from experts with extensive experience in humanitarian public health, collaborative research, and locally grounded project design, the session will help participants understand key challenges, ethical considerations, and opportunities for impactful partnerships. The webinar aims to equip researchers with the confidence, tools, and perspectives needed to engage meaningfully with partners in unstable settings and co-develop projects that are both scientifically robust and locally relevant.
