Have you ever thought about how much the humanities influence the way we experience university, learn, and build our future? On Wednesday, 27 May, from 3 to 4 pm, USI students will have the opportunity to participate in a launch webinar for the Student Essay Competition 2026. This event, promoted by the Magna Charta Observatory in collaboration with the Global Student Forum, will allow you to explore related topics.

Students are invited to reflect on the role of the humanities in fostering access to higher education and shaping both academic and personal experiences.

The webinar serves as an introduction to the competition. It will offer an overview of the 2026 edition, insights into the importance of the humanities in the contemporary context, first-hand testimony from a past winner, and a live Q&A session.

The encounter will take place online via Zoom. Taking part also means representing USI in an international context, bringing the contribution, ideas, and voice of our student community to the global debate on the future of higher education. Participation is free, subject to registration.
