Eligibility
Swiss Principal Investigator
- Must hold at least a PhD
- Must be employed as a scientist at an eligible Swiss institution
- Must have a permanent contract (minimum 40%) unrelated to the project
- Institution must be accredited by swissuniversities
Latin American Principal Investigator
- Must be affiliated with an accredited university or research institute
- Must hold a faculty/scientist position
- Must have several years of academic experience
- Must have a permanent contract unrelated to the project
Funding and Duration
- Funding range: CHF 25,000 – CHF 40,000
- Payment structure:
- 80% upon signing contract
- 20% after approval of final report
- Project duration: 18 months
- Earliest project start: February 1, 2027
- Latest project end: August 31, 2028
